A perverted man who reached inside a cubicle at a public toilet in the Hunter region and touched a teenage boy on the leg before peering over the top of the partition is on the run.
The 16-year-old boy visited the restroom inside a shopping centre on Taylor Ave in Thornton about 10.40am on Wednesday when he was inappropriately touched.
The offender then grabbed the boy when he tried to leave and attempted to talk to him before the teenager wrestled his hand free and fled.
The man is described as being of caucasian appearance, aged in his mid-60s, about 175cm tall, with a medium build, white wavy hair and white eyebrows.
He was last seen wearing a grey collared jumper, dark-coloured pants, glasses and joggers.
It’s understood the man left the shopping centre in a white 2012 Kia Sorento.
Officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District are investigating the incident.
